locationmanager not stopping even when i call stopUpdatingLocation

locationmanager not stopping even when i call stopUpdatingLocation

Hello even though I called stopUpdatingLocation on locationManager, the
location manager icon is still on the top right of my iphone. Why hasn't
it stopped?
